IBO Pro Player — full setup walkthrough

Before you start

This is the universal setup recipe for the three most common Smart TV operating systems. Pick the section that matches your TV. You will need: a Smart TV connected to Wi-Fi, your ipSmart M3U URL or Xtream credentials (sent via email after subscribing), and a phone or PC to upload the playlist.

Samsung Smart TVs (Tizen)

  1. 1
Make sure your Samsung TV is running Tizen OS and the Smart Hub / App Store is reachable.
  2. 2
Open the App Store and search for VU Player Pro, Hot Player or IBO Pro Player. Install it.
  3. 3
Open the app. It will display a MAC Address and a one-time Key — note them down.
  4. 4
On your phone or PC, open the relevant upload portal: vuplayer.pro/login, hotplayer.app/upload or iboproapp.com/manage-playlists.
  5. 5
Enter the MAC + Key, paste your ipSmart M3U URL (or Xtream login), then click Save.
  6. 6
Restart the player app — your channels and VOD will load automatically.

LG Smart TVs (webOS)

  1. 1
Connect the TV to Wi-Fi, then open the LG Content Store from the Home menu.
  2. 2
Search for Hot Player, VU Player Pro or IBO Pro Player. Install your preferred app.
  3. 3
Launch the app — note the MAC Address and the Key shown on screen.
  4. 4
On your phone/PC, head to the matching player portal (same URLs as above) and upload your M3U playlist.
  5. 5
Re-launch the app on your LG. Your ipSmart content is ready.

Sony Smart TVs (Google TV)

  1. 1
Open Settings → System → About and tap Build 7 times to enable Developer Options.
  2. 2
Under Device Preferences → Security, enable "Install from unknown sources" for the Downloader app.
  3. 3
Open the Play Store and install Downloader by AFTVnews.
  4. 4
In Downloader, enter https://vuplayer.pro/vupro.apk (or Downloader code 327187). Install the APK.
  5. 5
Open the player, note your MAC + Key, then upload your M3U via vuplayer.pro/login.
  6. 6
Restart the app — channels appear within seconds.

Pro tips

  • A wired Ethernet connection is more stable than Wi-Fi for 4K content.
  • Run the TV at 60 Hz (or 50 Hz in Europe) for smoother sports playback.
  • If channels fail to load, double-check the MAC address on the upload portal — it must match exactly.
