How to install IPTV on Windows and macOS

IBO Pro Player — desktop setup
Before you start
The desktop players are the same as on TV but with a richer UI and a built-in EPG. They run on Windows 10/11 and on Intel + Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 12 or later.
Windows 10 / 11

Open the Microsoft Store and search for IBO Pro Player, Hot Player or VU Player Pro.

Click Install, then Launch.

When the app opens, note the MAC Address / Device ID shown on the main screen.

Alternatively (no Store), download the EXE installer from the player vendor and run it.
macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon)

Open the App Store and search for IBO Pro Player, Hot Player or VU Player Pro.

Click Get / Install, then launch the app from Launchpad.

Note the MAC Address / Device ID displayed on the main screen.
Upload your ipSmart playlist

On any device, visit the upload portal that matches your installed player.

Enter the MAC + Key, paste your ipSmart M3U URL (or Xtream credentials), save.

Restart the desktop app — your channel list and VOD library appear automatically.
Pro tips
- Use a wired connection (or 5 GHz Wi-Fi at minimum) for 4K playback without buffering.
- On Apple Silicon Macs, the player runs natively — no Rosetta needed.
- Pin the player to your taskbar / dock for instant launch.
